Tasting note: Beautiful dark garnet colour. Nose of red fruits and blackcurrant. On the palate the wine is full bodied, well balanced and structured with a melted and ripe finish. “Aromas of currants, nutmeg and walnuts follow through to a full body with creamy tannins and a slightly tannic finish. But it only need some bottle age to soften and come together. Nicely crafted for the appellation. Try after 2023” signed James Suckling 2022 January
Pairing suggestion: Hard cheese, red meat, hearty stews.
