Accessibility Statement for Fallon & Byrne

At Fallon & Byrne, we are committed to making our website and services accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. We aim to comply with the EU Accessibility Act 2025 and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

Measures to Support Accessibility

To improve digital accessibility on www.fallonandbyrne.com, we have implemented the following measures:

  • Conducted internal and third-party accessibility evaluations
  • Developed an accessibility remediation roadmap based on audit findings
  • Provided training to staff on accessible content and inclusive design
  • Added an accessiBe accessibility interface to enhance accessibility for users with assistive technology or specific preferences
Use of accessiBe

We have integrated the accessiBe AI-powered accessibility widget, which provides:

  • Keyboard navigation and screen reader compatibility options
  • Adjustable font sizes, color contrast, and visual focus enhancements
  • Built-in tools for users with epilepsy, cognitive disorders, visual impairments, and more

While accessiBe improves user accessibility experiences, it does not replace our responsibility to build and maintain a fully accessible website. We continue to remediate our code, content, and PDFs in alignment with WCAG 2.1 standards.

Conformance Status

Our site is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Some known limitations include:

  • Missing or inaccurate alternative text on certain images
  • Inaccessible or untagged PDF documents
  • Forms lacking clear input labels
  • Insufficient color contrast in some components
  • Interactive elements not fully operable by keyboard only

These issues are being addressed as part of our ongoing remediation plan, with priority fixes targeted for completion by Q4 2025.
