A sophisticated and aromatic Spanish aperitif that balances citrus freshness with deep, herbal complexity. It pours a pale straw-yellow and offers a delicate nose of chamomile, mint, and soft vanilla. The palate is smooth and rounded, featuring a “merry dance” of liquorice, cinnamon, and ginger, finishing with the elegant, characteristic bitterness of wormwood.

Region: Haro, Rioja Alta, Spain.

Vintage: Non-Vintage (NV). It is produced using a consistent traditional formula to maintain a reliable house style year-on-year.

Style: Sweet White Vermouth (Blanco).

Grapes: Primarily Airén or Viura. The base is a high-quality white wine that provides the necessary acidity to balance the botanical infusion.

Fermentation & Infusion: The “Conzia” (botanical blend) consists of 24 different aromatic plants and herbs. These are cold-macerated in the base wine for nearly two months. Unlike the red version, no caramel is added to the white vermouth, allowing the natural floral and spice notes to lead.

Ageing: Uniquely for a white vermouth, it is aged in American oak barrels (and sometimes finished in French oak). These are often the same barrels used for ageing the estate’s Rioja wines, which imparts a signature creaminess and subtle toasted vanilla notes.

Filtration: The vermouth is stabilised and undergoes a fine filtration to ensure a brilliant, crystalline appearance in the glass.

Alcohol: 15%.

Farming: Sustainable viticulture. The grapes are sourced from the estate’s vineyards in Rioja Alta, characterised by calcareous clay soils.

Allergens: Contains sulphites.

Pairing Suggestion: The quintessential “Hora del Vermut” companion. Serve it well-chilled or over ice with a slice of lemon and a green olive. It pairs perfectly with salted almonds, Gilda skewers (olive, chilli, and anchovy), or mature Manchego cheese. It is also an excellent base for a White Negroni or a refreshing Vermouth Spritz.
