Details
Róisín Curley is a Mayo-born pharmacist and one of only 416 Masters of Wine globally, who transformed a wine hobby discovered 15 years ago into an extraordinary dual career. Since 2015, she has operated as a micro-négociant in Burgundy, sourcing tiny parcels of grapes from the finest vineyards whilst maintaining her full-time role in her family’s pharmacy in Ballyhaunis, County Mayo. Her winemaking journey began through extensive studies at Montpellier and Geisenheim, leading to prestigious positions at Château Latour and Château Grillet in the Rhône. Her production is so small and her hands-off, sustainable approach – crafting wines without added yeasts – has achieved immediate cult status.
