100% Garnacha Rioja Reserva. Powerful nose of red fruit and bramble. Great acidity and depth of flavour with well balaned oak and tanin on the palate.

Region: D.O.Ca. Rioja (Rioja Alta), Spain.

Vintage: 2019.

Style: Full-bodied, savoury, and classic Red Wine.

Grapes: A traditional blend typically dominated by 90% Tempranillo, with roughly 7% Graciano and 3% Mazuelo.

Fermentation: Hand-harvested fruit was destemmed and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Malolactic fermentation followed, with a focus on long maceration times to extract the mature tannins characteristic of the 2019 vintage.

Ageing: In accordance with Reserva regulations, this wine was aged for a minimum of 36 months total before release, with at least 12 months spent in French and American oak barrels and the remainder in bottle.

Alcohol: 14% – 14.5%.

Farming: Sustainable viticulture. The Montaña family manages over 270 acres of prime sites in Rioja Alta and Alavesa, with a high average vine age that contributes to the wine’s complexity.

Allergens: Contains sulphites.

Pairing Suggestion: A natural partner for roasted lamb, beef tenderloin, or slow-cooked game stews. It also pairs excellently with mature Manchego cheese or Iberico ham.
