Details
The 2022 vintage was marked by a warm, dry summer in the Valpolicella hills, which led to exceptional concentration in the grapes. This wine is produced using the traditional Appassimento method, where grapes are dried for several months before pressing, resulting in a remarkably bold wine that maintains a surprising “inner-brightness” and acidity.
Tasting Note: Dark and intense on the nose with aromas of dried cherries, blueberries and fruit compote. Great power on the palate, with a lovely balance of ripe tannins and spiced, concentrated savoury cherry. A touch of woodsmoke completes the long finish
