Details
A vibrant and expressive orange wine that balances aromatic intensity with a structured, savoury palate. It offers a complex bouquet of dried apricots, orange peel, and white flower petals, followed by a textured mouthfeel with a refreshing saline finish.
Region: Tierra de Castilla (Uclés), Spain.
Vintage: 2023.
Style: Dry Orange Wine (Skin-contact white).
Grapes: A blend of Gewürztraminer and Moscatel
Fermentation: The grapes are destemmed and crushed, then fermented with their skins in stainless steel tanks—a process typically reserved for red wines. This maceration lasts for an impressive 106 to 121 days, allowing for maximum extraction of colour and tannin.
Filtration: Only coarse filtration is used to preserve the wine’s natural integrity and “living” character.
Alcohol: 13.5%.
Farming: Certified Organic. The vineyards are located at high altitudes (700–900m) on limestone and clay soils, which helps maintain freshness in the warm Spanish climate.
Allergens: Contains sulphites
Pairing Suggestion: A highly “gastronomic” wine. Its tannic structure and aromatic profile make it an excellent partner for spicy Asian cuisine, North African tagines, roasted poultry, or mature, tangy cheeses.
