La Marca di San Michele Saltatempo – DELISTED
| 750g
Details
A vibrant, youthful, and highly “drinkable” Verdicchio that serves as the perfect introduction to the estate’s style. It is clean and transparent with greenish highlights, offering a fresh bouquet of white flowers, acacia, and crisp citrus. On the palate, it is nimble and savoury, showing a lovely saline minerality and a refreshing, bitter-almond finish.
Region: Marche IGT (Cupramontana), Italy.
Vintage: 2024.
Style: Dry, light-to-medium-bodied White Wine.
Grapes: 100% Verdicchio.
Fermentation: Fermentation is spontaneous using only indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks, without temperature control, to allow for a natural expression of the fruit.
Ageing: It is aged for approximately 7 to 9 months in stainless steel to maintain its primary freshness and vitality, followed by a short period of bottle refinement before release.
Alcohol: 12.5%.
Farming: Certified Organic and practicing Biodynamic. The vines are grown on 12-million-year-old limestone and clay seabed soils at altitudes of 350–400 metres.
Allergens: Contains sulphites (minimal additions are used, often well below organic limits).
Pairing Suggestion: Its zesty acidity and salty edge make it an ideal aperitif. It also pairs wonderfully with raw seafood, grilled oily fish, pasta with spring vegetables, or soft, creamy cheeses.
