Details
The Sautereau family has been making wine in Sancerre for nine generations. Their 2024 rosé is a “serious” pink wine, defined by the unique terroir of the region—a mix of caillottes (stony limestone) and terres blanches (clay-limestone). It avoids the “candy” sweetness of commercial rosés, focusing instead on the savory, red-berry soul of cool-climate Pinot Noir.
Tasting Note: 100% Pinot Noir rosé from the Loire Valley. Bright, pale pink colour, lively nose of strawberries. Full-bodied in the mouth with refreshing acidity, fruits of the forest and a long, elegant finish.
