Details

A generous, red fruit-forward rosรฉ with a delightful pale-pink colour made from low-yielding Gamay. The nose is enticing with fresh, lively notes of citrus fruit, red berries and floral hints. It is vividly fresh on the palate, medium-bodied with bright raspberry flavours mingling with grapey and citrus notes.

Region: Touraine AOC, Loire Valley, France.

Vintage: 2024.

Style: Dry, light-bodied Rosรฉ.

Grapes: 100% Gamay.

Fermentation: The grapes are harvested at night and immediately pressed (direct pressing). Fermentation takes place at low temperatures in stainless steel tanks to retain the grape’s natural fruitiness and floral character.

Filtration: The wine is aged on its fine lees for 3 to 6 months before being lightly filtered to achieve its signature crystalline clarity.

Alcohol: 12.5%.

Farming: Sustainable (certified Terra Vitis). The estate, Domaine du Haut Perron, has been in the family for four generations and is currently run by Cรฉdric Allion, who focuses on minimal intervention and soil health.

Allergens: Contains sulphites.

Pairing Suggestion: A perfect “aperitif” wine. It also pairs beautifully with grilled prawns, salmon, summer salads, or light Mediterranean dishes featuring olives and anchovies.
