Deep garnet in colour, the wine opens with alluring aromas of cherry, blackcurrant, plum, cedar, sage, liquorice and wild thyme. The palate is focused and layered, combining vibrant red fruit with dried herbs and earthy complexity, all carried on a concentrated frame with impressive intensity and length. Silky, fine tannins and lifted aromatics bring finesse and balance to a wine of serious structure and poise.

Vinification: The fruit was hand-harvested from late March to late April. Multiple small ferments were completed with 0 – 40% whole bunches, resulting in a final blend with around 22% whole-bunch inclusion, contributing aromatic lift and fine tannin structure. Time on skins ranged from 18 to 28 days before the wine was pressed and transferred to fine-grain French oak barrels, 20% of which were new, for roughly 12 months of maturation.
