Tignanello was the first Sangiovese to be aged in barriques and the first modern red to be blended with non-traditional varieties like Cabernet. The 2022 vintage is a “brooding” and concentrated expression compared to the 2021; it displays a darker fruit profile and a generous, velvety mouthfeel that reflects the warmth of the year while maintaining the estate’s legendary freshness.

Tasting Note: The original Super Tuscan, Tignanello is a truly iconic wine. It is produced with a selection of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc grapes. A muscular, beefy red with a huge depth of complexity and incredible capacity to age.
