Dark ruby in the glass with a powerful, complex aroma of blueberry, cassis, violets, liquorice, toast, mocha, dark chocolate, and tobacco leaf. Despite the eight years of age, this still feels youthful and vibrant but definitely benefits from an hour in the decanter. Full-bodied texture with wonderfully rich with layers upon layers of ripe fruit and well-integrated oak. Decant and serve with roast lamb or cellar for many years to come.
