Details
Sourced from limited-production vineyards of 90 to 100-year-old vines, El Recio is the “bridge” wine of the estate. It combines the raw power of the Toro terroir with the refinement of French oak. It is characterized by its intense concentration and a “polite” power that makes it more elegant than the typical high-alcohol wines of this region.
Tasting Note: Intense ruby red in the glass. Powerful, multi-layered aroma, with notes of chocolate, ripe black fruits, and vanilla. The palate is round, silky and very full-bodied. Dark fruit, cassis, blackberry, and cocoa linger in the strong, complex finish.
