“El Pícaro” is a modern, sophisticated take on Toro wines. While many in the region focus on massive tannins and heavy wood, Matsu uses 80–100-year-old vines to provide natural concentration, then treats the juice gently to maintain a “sweet” fruit character and surprising freshness.

Shows a youthful purple hue in the glass. Intense nose of blackberry, raspberry, fruit pastille and a touch of liquorice. Powerful on the palate with a balance of fruit and approachable tannin.
