Very fresh on the nose with ripe blackberries and dark cherries, mahogany and dry, woody spices. The palate is very powerful, juicy and fresh with clear black cherries and plums in abundance.
Region: D.O.Ca. Rioja (Rioja Alta), Spain.
Vintage: 2017.

Grapes: A traditional blend of 65–70% Tempranillo, 20–25% Garnacha, and 5% each of Graciano and Mazuelo.
Fermentation: Fermented in the estate’s historic large oak vats using natural, indigenous yeasts.
Filtration: Clarified using traditional fresh egg whites and bottled without filtration to preserve its intricate texture.
Alcohol: 13.5%.

Allergens: Contains sulphites
Pairing Suggestion: Excellent with grilled lamb chops, chorizo-stuffed peppers, or hearty bean stews (alubias). Its high acidity also makes it a brilliant partner for cured meats and aged cheeses.
