The 2023 Closerie de Vaudieu is the highly regarded “second wine” of the historic Château de Vaudieu. This estate is unique in Châteauneuf-du-Pape for having its 70 hectares of vineyards in one continuous block, neighbor to the legendary Château Rayas. The 2023 vintage is celebrated for its purity of fruit and elegant, sandy-soil profile.

Tasting Note: Lively berry fruits on the nose, with a touch of liquorice and a hint of black pepper. On the palate, it is full-bodied and the ripe tannins gently support the cherry, cassis and herb character on the finish.
